Disclosure This guide is published by Cresco Agency, a performance marketing agency that also works with clinics. To keep the list useful, Cresco is not ranked and appears only in a short note at the end. No agency paid to be included. Details come from each agency's own website, partner directories and press coverage as of October 2026. Results are agency-reported and not independently verified. Nothing here is legal advice on Saudi health advertising rules. |
The short answer
Healthcare is one of the hardest sectors to market in Saudi Arabia. Ads are regulated, trust decides the booking, and a lead only counts when the patient shows up. The right agency depends on whether you are a clinic that needs bookings, a hospital that needs reputation and volume, or a pharma or device brand that needs compliant communication.
The 10 agencies below are grouped by type of work, not by score:
Healthcare-only marketing agencies in Saudi Arabia: Darb Productions, Upper Medic, Bassmat Al-Taghyeer, Miras
Clinic growth and performance agencies: Doktori Media, Big AL Consulting, Fikra Digital Marketing
For pharma and medical brands (short list): Havas Life Middle East, Publicis Groupe Middle East, IJCP Group
How we chose these agencies
Every candidate was checked against its own website. An agency stayed on the list if it met most of these tests:
Healthcare proof in Saudi Arabia or the GCC: a named hospital, clinic or medical complex, or published results.
Transparency: a Saudi commercial registration, a Saudi office, published prices, or a clear compliance process.
Fit for regulated healthcare work: experience with clinic bookings, hospital brands or pharma communication.
Proof levels vary a lot in this sector, so every profile says how much evidence is public. We left out agencies that guaranteed first-page Google rankings, sold paid backlink packages, showed "0" client counters, or listed no Saudi or GCC healthcare work at all.
Saudi proof was required; a Saudi office or registration counted in an agency's favor. The comparison table shows each agency's Saudi presence: a Saudi commercial registration, a Saudi office, or remote service from abroad.
Why healthcare marketing in Saudi Arabia is different
1. Advertising health services is regulated
The Ministry of Health says the Law of Private Health Institutions prohibits advertising health institutions except as its executive regulations allow, and practitioners may not promote themselves outside those rules. In June 2026, the Ministry acted against coordinated posts by several practitioners promoting one facility's prices and bookings from their personal accounts. Ads should run through the facility, under its license, through approved channels.
2. Drugs and devices need SFDA approval
Advertising prescription medicines to the public is prohibited. Public ads for listed medicines need SFDA approval; medical device ads need approval too (SAR 3,000 for public ads). An influencer ad for a medicine needs its own SFDA approval (SAR 14,000), a Mawthooq-licensed creator over 21, and fines can reach SAR 5 million.
3. The private sector is growing fast
The government allocated SAR 214 billion to healthcare in 2024, and Vision 2030 plans to privatize 290 hospitals and 2,300 primary health centers. Private spending is forecast to roughly double to about US$33 billion by 2035, so competition for patients will keep rising.
4. Snapchat works for clinics
In a Snap-published case, Riyadh's AlMeswak Clinic ran a 25-day National Day 2025 campaign that reached over 10 million users with a 122% lift in sign-ups and 33% lower cost per sign-up. Stars Smile Dental reached 12.2 million users with takeovers and an AR Lens.
5. Tracking decides cost per patient
Al Hokail Medical Group reported doubled sign-ups and an 80% drop in cost per lead after sending first-party data to Snapchat through a server-side Conversions API, without changing creative. Most clinic bookings finish on WhatsApp or by phone, so the agency must track leads all the way to booked and attended appointments.
6. Health data is sensitive
Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law treats health data as sensitive. Avoid targeting by medical condition, and keep patient lists and testimonials consent-based.

9 questions to ask before you sign
Show me two Saudi clinics like mine: what was the cost per booked (not just requested) appointment?
How do you make sure our ads follow MOH health advertising rules and run under our facility license?
Who reviews medical claims, and do you need SFDA approval for anything we promote?
Do doctors appear in ads, and how does that stay within practitioner self-promotion rules?
How will you track leads from WhatsApp and phone calls to attended visits?
Will ad accounts, pixels and patient data stay in our name and comply with PDPL?
How much budget would go to Snapchat, Google, Meta and TikTok, and why?
Who writes and voices the Arabic content, and is it Saudi dialect?
How quickly can we pause or exit if bookings do not improve?
Red flags
Guaranteed bookings or guaranteed first-page Google rankings.
Before-and-after images or patient testimonials used without consent or medical review.
Doctors promoting prices and offers from personal accounts on the agency's advice.
Targeting by medical condition or uploading patient lists without consent.
Reporting leads only, with no link to booked or attended appointments.
Paid backlink packages sold as an SEO strategy.
What it costs
Published examples: Bassmat Al-Taghyeer charges SAR 3,500 to 19,500 per month; Fikra starts ad management at SAR 4,190 + VAT; Darb starts at SAR 5,500 for a doctor and SAR 25,000 for a clinic. Ad spend is paid to the platforms separately. Pharma communication is usually priced per project or retainer, plus SFDA approval fees.
Frequently asked questions
Can clinics advertise on social media in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, within MOH rules. Ads should come from the licensed facility and avoid misleading claims. Individual practitioners face tighter limits on self-promotion.
Which channel brings the most patients?
Google captures people already searching for a treatment. Snapchat and Instagram build demand, especially for dental and aesthetic services. Most clinics need both.
What is a good cost per booking?
It depends on specialty and city. Judge agencies on cost per attended appointment over at least three months, not on cost per lead.
Do I need a healthcare-only agency?
Not always. A specialist knows the rules and medical tone; a strong performance agency may track and scale better. Ask both types the same questions.
